Self Catering Cottage Accommodation in the Shropshire Hills
Holly
Grove is a pretty 17th Century semi-detached holiday cottage with
a wealth of exposed beams.
It
has been lovingly restored and makes an ideal holiday home for
a stay in our lovely Shropshire countryside.
The
cottage stands in open farm land about one mile from the nearest
village of Church Pulverbatch, a conservation area.
Our
farm is a small, traditional family farm with a herd of Prime
Beef Cattle and a sheep enterprise with sheep of all shapes and
sizes! You will meet some of them as they graze in the meadows
next to the garden!
The
Longmynd and Church Stretton Hills, designated "Areas of Outstanding
Natural Beauty" stand to the south. Holly
Grove is an ideal base for a walking holiday - we have maps and
guides for you to use during your stay.
Drive
three miles along the lanes to the A49 and there are good road
links to so many places you will want to visit, the Medieval county
town of Shrewsbury, the World famous Ironbridge Gorge, Castles
at Ludlow and Stokesay, street markets in Oswestry and Market
Drayton, beautiful gardens, wonderful walks over the hills ...
the list is endless!
